CCTV at Barbelle

We've installed CCTV across the gym. Here's everything you need to know.

Why we have it

Purely for the safety and security of our members and team. Nothing more.

What it covers

Cameras are in place across general training areas only. There are no cameras in changing rooms or anywhere you'd expect privacy.

The system records video only. There is no audio recording.

How long footage is kept

Footage is normally kept for 14 days. If an incident means we need to hold onto specific footage for longer, we will.

Where footage is stored

Footage is stored securely via a cloud based system - only accessed by Abi Durrant. The app used is Hik-Connect.

Keeping it secure

We take the security of this footage seriously. This includes changing any default passwords on the system and working with our installer to make sure best practice security measures are in place.
